Part 1
Do you spend money on luxury items?
What luxury items are most popular in your country?
Why do people spend money on luxury items?
What would you buy if you could?

Part 2
Describe an unusual event, holiday or trip you experienced. You can say:
when it was
where it was
what happened at the event / on the trip
And why you thought it was unusual

Part 3
How do people generally react to unexpected situations in your culture?
Do you think it’s important to always have a plan, or is it better to be spontaneous at times?
What are some strategies that can help individuals deal with unexpected challenges in life?
How do you think technology has helped us in managing unexpected circumstances better?

Every Saturday, my goal is to record ideal, band-9-level responses to a brand new, full IELTS speaking test so that you can have a good idea of what to say in response to these questions. Regardless of whether you're aiming for a 6.5 or a 9, these videos will be helpful for you.
Please keep in mind that some of these responses will be much longer than the amount of time for which you'd need to speak, but I'm doing this so that you have an idea of all the kinds of things you can say and HOW to say them in your test.
